Mobility Access Modifications in Preston is seeking a warehouse professional to lead a six-month improvement project, five days per week onsite. You will work with the Warehouse Team Leader to streamline operations, improve stock control, and implement a practical pre-picking system to boost accuracy.

You’ll own the project from planning through rollout, coordinating with manufacturing and trades, using AroFlo, Datapel, Trello and Excel to reduce waste and maintain improvements.

Competenze

• Strong hands-on experience in warehouse operations, inventory management and logistics.
• Experience supervising or coordinating warehouse or operational teams.
• Proven delivery of warehouse process or systems improvements.
• Knowledge of stock control, picking, replenishment and inventory management.
• Ability to plan, co-ordinate and implement practical operational projects.
• Comfort using inventory or warehouse systems, Excel and other digital tools.
• Ability to work with an existing Team Leader onsite in Preston five days a week.

Mansioni

• Support the Warehouse Team Leader with daily coordination, work allocation, team performance and accountability.
• Provide acting operational leadership support when required.
• Improve stock control, receiving, storage, picking, pre-loading, dispatch, returns and replenishment.
• Strengthen materials planning and coordination between warehouse, manufacturing and trades teams.
• Take ownership of assessing, developing, testing and rolling out improved stock management and pre-picking processes.
• Introduce practical stock tracking, barcode scanning or other inventory solutions where feasible.
• Improve inventory visibility, stock accuracy and material availability ahead of scheduled jobs.
• Work with our Business Process Analyst and relevant stakeholders to evaluate systems, integration feasibility and implementation costs.
