Responsabilidades

• Wrap, label and prepare pallets for dispatch.
• Complete daily forklift pre-start checks and report faults.
• Conduct cycle counts and keep stock locations accurate.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
• Assist around the warehouse as required (some heavy lifting).

About the role

Reporting to the Warehouse/Office Supervisor, we are looking for an experienced, safety-focused forklift operator to join our NSW warehouse team in Smithfield!

Key responsibilities

• Operating counterbalance and reach forklifts to load and unload trucks and containers safely

• Moving, stacking and putting away palletised stock in racking and designated areas in a neatly organised and secure fashion

• Picking and staging orders accurately, efficiently, and without damaging any products

• Wrapping, labelling and preparing pallets for dispatch

• Completing daily forklift pre-start checks and reporting any faults

• Cycle counts and keeping stock locations accurate

• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment

• Assisting around the warehouse as and when required (some heavy lifting may be required)

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• A current LF forklift licence.

• Proven forklift experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, including counterbalance and reach forklift operation.

• A sound understanding of warehouse procedures and safe work practices.

• Strong attention to detail and care when handling products.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• A reliable, punctual approach and a positive, can-do attitude.

• The ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet dispatch deadlines.

• The capacity to safely perform the physical requirements of the role.

• Basic computer skills and experience handling flooring or similar products would be an advantage.
