Job summary

Baker Hughes in Australia is seeking a Production Operator to ensure safe, reliable delivery of products to customers and to manage QC samples in line with Baker Hughes procedures.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, forklift experience, and the ability to work in a team within Quality, Logistics, Warehouse, or Inventory Management. You will support ISO9001:2015 efforts and uphold HSE standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; forklift experience and license.
• Experience in Quality, Logistics, Warehouse, or Inventory Management.
• Ability to identify and resolve problems and implement improvements.
• Team player and collaborative work style.
• Competent with MS Office and computer use.
• Able to work in a physically demanding environment with heavy products.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory analysis to verify material quality and prepare COA (Certificate of Analysis).
• Take product QC samples as detailed in procedures.
• Unload/load transport carriers per sales or purchase orders.
• Assist with maintaining ISO9001:2015 certification with Plant Supervisor/Manager.
• Coordinate quality control on site with support and corporate teams.
• Adhere to HSE standards and the 5 fundamentals of a perfect HSE day.
