Job summary

DHL Supply Chain Australia is seeking an experienced Leading Hand or Storeperson to join our high-volume warehouse team. You will lead daily operations across inbound, outbound, picking/packing, and inventory while ensuring KPI targets are met and safety standards are observed.

This role offers hands-on leadership, on-site training, and opportunities to advance within a global logistics group. Forklift licensing is highly desirable, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, customer service, and

Qualifications

Proven operational experience in a high volume 3PL warehouse environment.
Forklift licence (e.g. High Reach, Counter Balance and/or Double Deep) is highly desirable.
Proven customer facing experience with the ability to deliver superior customer service.
Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
WMS experience – including exposure to the various functions.
Proficient Microsoft Office skills including Excel.

Responsibilities

Leading a team to ensure objectives are communicated, and KPI’s achieved on a daily basis
Ensure operational performance across inbound, outbound, picking/packing, and inventory
Customer interaction including maintaining good working relationships and responding to all enquiries in a timely manner
Maintaining stock integrity in warehouse including adhering to DHL policies and procedures
Following safe work practices and work instructions
Assist with identifying training needs and opportunities to develop the team
