Job summary

NES Fircroft in Longford, VIC, is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join a safety-focused team supporting energy operations. The role covers materials handling, inventory control and forklift duties on a 12-month contract.

You will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and work with the team to load/unload trucks, manage stock, and maintain accurate records using warehouse systems; training for forklift licence may be provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or logistics environment.
• Ability to use warehouse management systems.
• Forklift licence (LF) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to support daily warehouse operations.
• Safely load and unload trucks.
• Receive and issue materials in accordance with procedures.
• Locate, store and manage inventory within the warehouse.
• Conduct stock counts and inventory checks.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation.

NES Fircroft is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operator to join a well-established warehouse team supporting critical onshore and offshore energy operations.

Based in Longford, Victoria, this role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a safety-focused and collaborative environment, playing a key role in supporting maintenance and operational activities across a major energy asset.

About the Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor and working closely with the Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of warehouse activities, including materials handling, inventory management and forklift operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to support daily warehouse operations
• Safely load and unload trucks
• Receive and issue materials in accordance with warehouse procedures
• Locate, store and manage inventory within the warehouse
• Conduct stock counts and inventory checks
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
• Follow established materials management procedures and controls
• Support internal stakeholders with materials and inventory enquiries

About You

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or logistics environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Good computer literacy and the ability to use warehouse management systems
• SAP experience (desirable)
• Current Forklift Licence (LF) preferred

Don't have a Forklift Licence?

Training and licensing may be provided for the right candidate.
