Job summary

Jaybro is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Operator at our Mackay branch to keep goods moving and orders dispatched accurately. You'll join a friendly team and contribute to safety and efficiency across daily tasks, with a focus on speed, accuracy and great service to customers.

With 2+ years of warehouse experience and a current forklift licence, you’ll fit in a role that values reliability, teamwork and a proactive attitude to getting things moving in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and unload incoming deliveries, ensuring stock is accurate and in good condition.
• Store stock safely and accurately within the warehouse and maintain organised inventory locations.
• Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain inventory records and participate in regular stock counts and stocktakes.
• Operate counterbalance & high reach forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely while loading/unloading trucks and containers.

Are you an energetic, hands-on person who enjoys keeping things moving? Jaybro at Mackay is looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our team!

For more than 29 years, Jaybro has been helping keep Australia and New Zealand’s infrastructure and construction projects moving. As a full-service supplier, we provide the products, service and know-how that make life easier for infrastructure contractors.

And now, our team is looking for a Warehouse Operator to jump on board at our new Mackay branch.

About The Role

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role with a 8am start, working alongside a friendly and experienced team.

As a Warehouse Operator, you’ll be right at the heart of our operation — making sure products arrive safely, orders get out the door on time and our customers get the great service Jaybro is known for.

No two days are exactly the same, and you’ll play an important role in keeping the warehouse running smoothly, safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check and unload incoming deliveries, ensuring stock is accurate and in good condition.

Requirements

• 2+ years previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• A current Forklift Licence, with experience operating counterbalance and high-reach forklifts.
• A strong commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
• Great organisation skills, reliability and a positive, can-do attitude.
• A team-first mindset and a willingness to learn, grow and contribute.
• The ability to roll up your sleeves and get things moving!

As part of the recruitment process, you will be required to complete a medical, and a national criminal history check.
