Job summary

BASF Australia, sourcing via Nunhems Australia, is seeking a Warehouse Operator in Brisbane to ensure safe, accurate receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of stock. The role requires reliability and the ability to work independently while contributing positively to the team.

You will operate high-reach and side-reach forklifts under a current Australian forklift licence, maintain inventory records and use warehouse management systems to process activities.

Qualifications

  • Current Australian Forklift Licence, with experience operating high-reach and side-reach forklifts.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar logistics environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when picking, packing and recording stock.
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using inventory management or warehouse management systems.
  • Willingness and ability to learn and adapt to new computer and inventory management systems.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Reliable, punctual and consistent work ethic.
  • Professional presentation and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, check and store incoming goods accurately and efficiently.
  • Pick and pack customer and internal orders with a high level of accuracy.
  • Prepare orders for dispatch and ensure all documentation is completed correctly.
  • Operate forklifts, including high-reach and side-reach equipment, safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stocktakes as required.
  • Use computer systems and inventory management software to process and record warehouse activities.
  • Learn and confidently use new computer, inventory and warehouse management systems as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and company policies.
  • Identify and report stock discrepancies, damaged goods or warehouse issues.
  • Work collaboratively with the team while also being capable of working autonomously.
  • Complete allocated tasks efficiently and within required timeframes without constant supervision.

About the Role
