NLH Workforce is partnering with a Queensland-based distributor to recruit a hands-on Warehouse Operator. You will operate LF forklifts, pick and pack parts, assemble pallets and label shipments, using a WMS to print labels and enter stock.

Day shift is from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, paying $38 per hour. This temp-to-full-time role requires proven warehouse experience and a valid LF forklift ticket, along with strong numeracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Proven stores/warehouse experience with a valid LF forklift ticket.
• Positive, easy-going demeanour and ability to follow directions.
• Strong numeracy and high attention to detail (adding/subtracting/counting).
• Willingness to learn and adapt to processes and safety rules.

Responsabilités

• Operate LF forklifts to move and store goods.
• Use printed picking sheets to accurately pick and pack parts.
• Make up pallets using hand and power tools.
• Weigh, wrap and label boxes for safe handling and delivery.
• Use WMS to print labels and enter stock information.

Role:
Join the team and become a key player in the efficient distribution of essential products within the business. Utilizing you warehousing skills you will engage in a variety of tasks, including:

• Operation of an LF forklifts
• Utilize printed picking sheets to accurately pick and pack a wide range of parts.
• Making up pallets using hand and power tools
• Weighing, wrapping and labeling boxes to ensure proper handling and delivery.
• Use of WMS to print labels, enter stock

What we're looking for:

• Proven Stores/Warehouse experience holding a valid forklift (LF) ticket
• Easy going and positive demeanor
• Willingness to learn and follow directions
• Numeracy skills and high attention to detail (Lots of adding, subtraction and counting!)
