Job description

IOR might be the greatest Aussie success story you haven't heard of... yet.

From humble roots in Eromanga, QLD, we've been fuelling the furthest corners of Australia for over 40 years. But we think the most exciting journey's still on the horizon.

Joining IOR as a Warehouse Operator means becoming part of a team that keeps our operations moving. Based at our Port of Brisbane facility, you'll play a key role in ensuring materials, inventory and customer orders are received, stored and dispatched safely, accurately and on time. Every day you'll contribute to the smooth running of our warehouse operations while supporting a business that delivers for Australians across the country. With a 9-day fortnight, a supportive team environment and opportunities to build your skills, this is a great role for someone who takes pride in doing quality work and values being part of a great team.

About the role

This role is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of goods while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy and organisation within the warehouse. Working closely with team members, suppliers and delivery drivers, you'll help ensure products are available when needed and delivered to the right place at the right time.

You'll:

  • Unload goods from delivery vehicles, inspect and verify the quantity and quality of goods received.
  • Store goods in designated areas, ensuring proper labelling and organisation, conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
  • Pick and pack orders according to customer requirements.
  • Coordinate with delivery drivers to ensure timely dispatching of orders.
  • Maintain records of all dispatched goods and maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
What you'll bring

You'll be a reliable and safety-focused individual who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in maintaining high standards. You're organised, proactive and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

You’ll bring:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or storeperson role.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • The ability to safely perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving stock.
  • Sound organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Basic computer skills and confidence using systems for inventory and record management.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to working safely.

Approaching each day through our values of Innovation finding solutions, Our Communities serving people, and Reliability getting results, our team is focused on delivering what really matters to our customers. It's this mindset that drives us forward. We're about so much more than fuel. We're about three key things:

  • Right Team: It's the kind of place where you walk in the door and instantly know you belong.
  • Right Track: We're going somewhere, and as we get bigger, so do the opportunities to get stuck in and challenge yourself.
  • Right Now: There's no dragging feet or endless committees here. We deliver for Australia every single day.

You’ll also be rewarded with a range of benefits, including:

  • Enjoy a great work-life balance with a 9-day fortnight.
  • Team member and family discounts on fuel (obviously!).
  • Work from our modern Port of Brisbane facility in a unique waterfront location.
  • Grow your skills through ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Work hard, play hard with our Blue Squad social club, trivia nights, barbecues and plenty of laughs.
  • Plus salary sacrificing options, retail and health care discounts, Employee Assistance Program, and much more.
