Bidfood Armidale is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day warehousing and distribution, set the shift rhythm, and keep people safe while driving productivity.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll work with purchasing, sales and transport, coaching a diverse team and delivering on safety, service and your people.

This role forms part of the branch’s top management, balancing structure with leadership and a focus on continuous improvement.

Formación

• Proven leadership in warehouse or distribution operations.
• Rostering and workforce planning across multiple shifts.
• Excellent communication, coaching and performance management skills.
• Strong understanding of safety, food quality and cold-chain requirements.
• Confidence with operational systems and reporting.
• A current forklift licence (essential).
• A current MR truck licence (essential).

Responsabilidades

• Be a master of rosters, labour planning and wage control to match demand.
• Lead, coach and mentor a large, diverse operations team.
• Champion safe practices and ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment and facility readiness.
• Monitor performance and prepare reports that drive improvements.
• Look for smarter, safer and more efficient ways to work every day.
