About the role
The Warehouse Officer plays a key role in providing stores, warehouse, maintenance, and procurement support for the Future Industry & Trades (FIT) programs. This position is committed to delivering high-quality, customer-focused service in alignment with business objectives. Working under limited supervision from the Materials Handling Manager, the Warehouse Officer collaborates effectively with team members, suppliers, educational staff, students, industry representatives, government agencies, and the general public.
The Warehouse Officer shall support efficient stores and warehouse operations across TAFE SA campuses by utilising procurement systems (e.g. Basware, WMS), ensuring WHS compliance, maintaining stock levels through reordering, cycle counts, and stocktakes. Provide safe materials handling services, including forklift and equipment use, issuing tools and consumables, and restocking Kanban satellite locations.

The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).
