Queensland Health is seeking a professional to lead the Supply Chain Branch, delivering end-to-end warehousing and distribution services across hospital networks. Supply Chain Branch proudly provides a resilient and reliable supply chain service to our Hospital and Health Service customers and partner services, including clinical goods, pharmaceuticals and linen products. The branch comprises functions critical to Queensland Health's supply response, including Central Pharmacy, Linen Services, Warehousing and Logistics, and Operations Group. These functions combine to provide an end-to-end supply chain function—from demand planning to warehousing and distribution—under a single integrated branch led by the Executive Director.
As a Manager, you will Supply Chain Branch supports clients and stakeholders across the Department of Health, all Hospital and Health Services, Queensland Government and some external agencies with the goal of ‘Maximising value; elevating healthcare.' You will also promote the Warehouse and Distribution facility by Liaising with clinical, medical and administrative staff and clients to achieve client focused quality outcomes.
You will effectively lead and motivate staff by providing clear direction and fostering positive outcomes, while managing resources within established controls to maximise service delivery and efficiency. You will inspire colleagues to contribute to practical solutions that support organisational objectives, encourage a culture of continuous improvement, and help remove barriers to positive change. You will also proactively evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the operational environment, identifying opportunities to improve processes, strengthen ways of working and ensure resources are used effectively to support key organisational priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
