Job summary

Mineral Resources is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor to lead the warehouse team at Iron Valley, located 75km north-west of Newman. You will supervise load/unload, inventory, receiving, picking, cycle counts, storage and dangerous goods, and coordinate freight from the Perth Distribution Centre.

The role is permanent full-time on an 8D 6RR roster, with a strong emphasis on safety, cost efficiency and customer service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a warehouse or logistics supervisory (or similar) position.
• Proven experience leading a team in warehouse/logistics.
• Experience with ERP systems and transport booking software.
• Knowledge of CoR and road legislation as it applies to freight transport.
• Strong Excel skills and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with warehouse safety requirements and provide a safe working environment.
• Report hazards, incidents, inspections and safety observations.
• Manage annual cycle count process.
• Build relationships with customers, stakeholders and team members to deliver excellent service.
• Coordinate priority/shutdown freight and ensure on-time dispatch and cost effectiveness.
• Audit manifests and trailers for compliance and efficiency.
• Lead and develop your team and manage roster, overtime and leave.
• Provide training and be available for rostered call-outs.
