Job summary

Swan Plumbing, a family-owned distributor with 200+ staff across three states, is expanding its Tingalpa distribution centre. We are seeking a responsible store person to join our warehouse team, with a forklift licence essential to operate safely and efficiently.

You will pack and dispatch orders for six Queensland stores and our Commercial division, receive and unpack stock, load vehicles, and assist with stocktakes.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence and previous warehousing experience.
• Excellent data entry and computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail with focus on accuracy.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good OH&S awareness and compliance with transport regulations.

Responsibilities

Our Distribution Centre located in Tingalpa has expanded to include our fast growing Commercial division. We are looking for a responsible and reliable store person to join our expanding team. A forklift licence is essential.

You will be responsible for:

Packing and dispatching orders for our 6 Queensland stores and our Commercial division.

Receiving and unpacking stock.

Checking and loading vehicles.

Assisting with stocktakes.

General warehouse duties.

We are looking for:

Competent, understanding of warehouse/logistics operation and dispatch.

Forklift licence and previous experience in warehousing.

Excellent organisational skills.

High attention to detail with strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Excellent data entry and computer skills.

Basic understanding of the respective OH&S and transportation regulations.

A self motivated and flexible attitude.

Working from 6am to 3pm Monday to Friday.
