Job summary

JP Piping Systems Pty Ltd is a Mackay-based, locally owned company with 30+ years in operation. They seek a full-time Experienced Store Person skilled in warehousing, storage and distribution to join their team and manage the store and logistics functions.

The role covers forklift operation, order processing, deliveries, and weekly maintenance tasks. Strong customer service, safety awareness, and computer literacy are required. A manual and forklift license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing, storage and distribution.
• Ability to perform physical/manual labour safely.
• Proficient with computers including Microsoft programs.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
• Current manual driver’s license and forklift license (Preferred).
• Excellent work ethic and team-focused approach.
• Knowledge of pipework, poly fitting and poly fabrication.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
• Test and Tag certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and manage warehouse tools and equipment.
• Order, receive, package and dispatch goods.
• Maintain orders and stock within the warehouse.
• Conduct deliveries as required.
• Oversee tooling and vehicle maintenance.
• Provide customer service and assist teammates.
• Utilise computer systems to track inventory.
• Adhere to safety practices and reporting.
