Job summary

Haynes People is seeking Storepeople to join our client in Mackay for a short-term contract. This is a hands-on role in a professional, safety-first environment.

You will pick, pack and dispatch parts orders, receive freight, operate forklifts (LF licence preferred or willing to obtain), maintain inventory, and provide outstanding service to internal and external customers. Full-time hours and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse/logistics experience preferred.
• Current forklift licence (LF) or willingness to obtain.
• Basic computer skills for inventory systems and order processing.
• Proactive, safety-first attitude with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and dispatch parts orders with accuracy.
• Receive inbound freight and process accordingly.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (licence required or willingness to obtain).
• Maintain inventory integrity through stocktakes and cycle counts.
• Ensure a clean, safe and compliant work environment.
• Provide outstanding service to internal and external customers.
