Job summary

BuildRight Construction AU is seeking an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Team Leader to join a growing New Zealand food distribution business. You will oversee daily warehouse activities, coordinate dispatch, and lead a small team while driving health and safety, efficiency, and customer service.

This leadership role emphasizes front-line management, continuous improvement across logistics and inventory, and collaboration with freight providers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse and logistics operations.
• Experience leading or supervising a warehouse team.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
• Experience using warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse and dispatch operations.
• Supervise and support warehouse staff to achieve operational targets.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight activities.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and stock takes.
• Ensure products are received, stored, picked, and dispatched accurately.
• Promote and maintain workplace health and safety standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance support to team members.
