Job summary

Safety Xpress Pty Ltd in Prestons, NSW is seeking a reliable Warehouse Assistant & Delivery Driver for a full-time role (38 hours/week). You will receive stock, pick/pack orders, and deliver locally using company vehicles within 7:00am–5:00pm, helping keep the warehouse safe and operations efficient.

You’ll need a current Australian driver’s licence, a hands-on approach, basic computer skills and good teamwork. Forklift licence is a plus.

Qualifications

Requires Australian driver’s licence and ability to deliver locally.
Ability to perform hands-on duties including lifting and loading.
Good organisational and time management skills; effective communication.
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

Receive, unload and store stock, including container unloading.
Pick, pack and prepare orders for delivery or collection.
Complete local deliveries using company vehicles.
Check orders and delivery paperwork; obtain proof of delivery.
Report faults, delivery issues or damaged goods promptly.
Assist with dispatch documentation and stock records.
Support stocktakes and cycle counts; report discrepancies.
Assist customers collecting orders and provide professional service at delivery sites.
Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment where licensed and trained.
Keep the warehouse clean, safe and organized.
