Job summary

Britton Timbers is seeking a Warehouse General Hand to support timber processing and dispatch across Australia. The role involves sorting, preparing, and loading timber, operating basic warehouse equipment, and maintaining safe working practices.

You will work as part of a small team, follow instructions, and use computer systems for paperwork. Forklift operation is preferred but not essential, with reliable transport important to access site locations.

• Timber industry experience preferred.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling duties.
• Reliable, motivated, punctual, and eager to learn.
• Able to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
• Forklift licence preferred but not essential.

This role involves sorting, preparing, and dispatching timber products, operating warehouse equipment, and maintaining safe working practices.

Key responsibilities

Sort and prepare timber for processing and dispatch

Assist with day-to-day warehouse operations

Operate hand strapping machines and wrap timber packs securely

Operate a forklift when required

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment

Complete all necessary paperwork and utilize computer systems as required

Other tasks as required

About you
