Job summary

OnSite Recruitment is seeking experienced Forklift Operators for a Day Shift position in Mackay QLD. Immediate start with potential for ongoing, permanent employment in a safety-focused warehouse environment.

You will operate counterbalance forklifts, assist with picking/packing orders, load/unload deliveries, and maintain a tidy, safe workspace on a Monday–Friday schedule. Pre-employment drug screening and forklift assessment may be required.

Qualifications

• LF Forklift Licence required.
• Minimum 12 months counterbalance forklift experience.
• Available Monday to Friday, 6:00–2:00/7:00–3:00.
• Proactive attitude and good teamwork.
• Reliable transport to and from work.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

Experienced Forklift Operators | Day Shift | Mackay QLD

Our client is a well-established leader in the building supplies industry and is currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators for an immediate start on Day Shift at their Mackay location.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a safety-focused team with the potential for ongoing and permanent employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating counterbalance forklifts, including occasional use of grab attachments and double-deep tines.

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.

• Loading and unloading trucks and deliveries.

• General warehouse duties and stock movement.

• Manual handling and lifting of products up to 20kg.

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment.

Skills & Experience Required

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• A current LF Forklift Licence.

• Minimum 12 months' experience operating a counterbalance forklift.

• Availability to work Monday to Friday with an immediate start. 6-2pm or 7-3 pm.

• A proactive and positive attitude.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Reliable transport to and from work.

• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

• Good physical fitness and the ability to regularly lift up to 20kg.

• Willingness to complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and forklift competency assessment.
