Job summary

Randstad is hiring a Forklift Operator for our Brendale distribution centre in QLD. This is a day-shift, ongoing full-time role with a competitive hourly rate of pay and stable hours.

You will safely operate an LF forklift in a fast-paced warehouse, handling inbound/outbound movements, order picking, and inventory care while maintaining a tidy, compliant work area.

Qualifications

• LF forklift licence is mandatory.
• High Reach experience is highly desirable for operating at height in narrow spaces.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform manual handling when required.
• Reliable with a proven punctuality record and proactive attitude.
• Strong commitment to safety and WHS protocols on site.

Responsibilities

• Operate LF forklift to move stock and navigate aisles safely.
• Load and unload transport trucks efficiently (inbound/outbound).
• Pick and prepare orders for dispatch with accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace and assist with general upkeep.

The Role

Working within a fast-paced dispatch and receiving environment, you will be responsible for the efficient movement of automotive stock and ensuring accurate inventory flow.

• Location: Brendale, QLD

• Pay Rate: $38.00 per hour

• Hours: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Great work-life balance!)

• Status: Ongoing full-time hours with long-term stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Machinery Operation: Utilizing your LF forklift to manage high-reach racking and navigate tight warehouse aisles safely.

• Inbound & Outbound: Loading and unloading transport trucks efficiently.

• Order Fulfilment: Picking automotive stock and preparing orders for dispatch.

• Inventory Care: Helping with general warehouse upkeep and maintaining a tidy, hazard-free workspace.

What You’ll Need

• Current LF Licence: Mandatory with proven forklift operating experience.

• High Reach Experience: Highly desirable (comfortable operating at height in narrow spaces).

• Physical Fitness: Capability to assist with occasional manual handling and lifting when required.

• Reliability: A track record of punctuality and a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
