Job summary

Real Pet Food Company is hiring a Warehouse Operator at our Dubbo manufacturing site. You will join a fast-paced, down-to-earth team on the factory floor, handling loads and maintaining safety standards.

This permanent role is covered by our EBA and offers day and afternoon shifts with a competitive hourly rate. The role requires a current forklift licence, experience in forklift operation, and a commitment to safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Must have a Valid forklift operator certification (proof required).
• Experience operating forklifts in fast-paced environments is preferred.
• Understanding of warehouse safety protocols is required.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift machinery to load, unload, and transport materials within our busy warehouse (Including High Reach).
• Conduct regular equipment inspections to maintain safety standards.
• Adhere to company and health and safety regulations at all times.
• Support warehouse operations by managing inventory and organising storage areas efficiently.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.

We are excited to welcome our newest Warehouse Operator to our Dubbo Manufacturing Site - where we manufacture Australia's tastiest pet foods including Ivory Coat and Natures Gift!

In this role you will be part of a fun and fast-paced environment with a team that is down to earth and who enjoy good banter!

This role is covered by our EBA so you will be one of our valued hourly workers. We are looking for both Day and Afternoon Shift Coverage: Mon-Fri 6.55am-3.00pm and 2.55pm-11pm. The hourly rate is $29.16 per hour plus High Reach Allowance. There will also be penalties for overtime if required. This is a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Operate forklift machinery to load, unload, and transport materials within our busy warehouse (Including High Reach)

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role involves manual handling tasks and the operation of heavy machinery, necessitating physical stamina and adherence to safety standards. Candidates should be prepared to work in various temperatures and environments within the warehouse. A pre-employment medical is part of our recruitment process including a Drug and Alcohol assessment.
