Qualifications

  • Previous warehousing and order picking experience.
  • Strong reliability and attendance (Monday–Friday availability).
  • Physically fit and able to lift 20–25kg consistently.
  • Good communication, reading, numeracy, and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Current Australian Driver's License and reliable transport.
  • (Desirable) Equine industry or product knowledge.

  • Schedule and dispatch goods from the warehouse.
  • Prepare and process online courier bookings.
  • Receive and unpack incoming stock.
  • Conduct stock counts and general warehouse upkeep.

JC Milton & Co, part of the Tallahesse Group, proudly distributes some of the world's leading farrier supplies, horseshoes, and horse care products across Australia. Our head office and national distribution center is located in Langwarrin, Victoria.

The Role
We are looking for a reliable full-time Warehouse Allrounder to join our team in Langwarrin. This permanent role runs Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 4.30pm.

You will work closely with our warehouse and customer service teams, assisting with picking and packing orders, managing stock, preparing our mobile show truck, and handling general warehouse duties.

For the right candidate, this position offers an exciting opportunity to progress into an on-the-road Driver/Sales Representative role. This role involves delivering orders and promoting products directly to customers using our show truck, with the potential to earn sales commission and participate in occasional overnight travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders
  • Schedule and dispatch goods from the warehouse
  • Prepare and process online courier bookings
  • Receive and unpack incoming stock
  • Conduct stock counts and general warehouse upkeep (cleaning, piece work, etc.)
  • Assist with preparing and restocking the show truck
  • Perform local deliveries using a company vehicle
