Job summary

JONO Holdings Pty Ltd in Queensland is seeking a reliable Storeperson to join our team. The role involves hands-on warehousing, picking, packing, stock control and assisting customers, with some forklift operation where licensed.

You will enter orders, respond to inquiries and help maintain a tidy, safe workplace while supporting a long-standing family business known for service and quality products in fencing and balustrades.

Qualifications

• Current driver's licence required; an automatic licence is sufficient.
• Forklift licence desirable but not mandatory.
• Previous warehouse or customer service experience highly regarded.
• Confidence using computers and learning new systems.
• Good attention to detail, communication and organisational skills.
• A reliable, helpful approach and commitment to working safely.

Responsibilities

• Picking & Packing: Accurately pick and pack customer orders for collection or delivery.
• Customer Service: Assist customers in person, answer phone calls and respond to customer emails.
• Order Processing: Take customer orders and accurately enter them into our computer system.
• Stock & Warehouse Duties: Conduct stocktakes, assist with general warehouse duties and maintain a clean, organised workspace.
• Collections & Deliveries: Collect goods from suppliers and deliver customer orders.
• Forklift Operation: Operate a forklift within the warehouse, subject to holding the appropriate licence.
