Job summary

Mount Isa Mines is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to lead day-to-day warehouse operations at Mount Isa, ensuring safe, efficient work and accurate record-keeping in SAP. You will coordinate receipting, picking, dispatch and inventory while guiding Storepersons and collaborating with stakeholders to support production and maintenance.

You will drive continuous improvement, mentor staff, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced mining environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing or supply chain operations.
• Experience coordinating daily operational activities or leading small teams.
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Excellent planning, organisation and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on inventory accuracy.
• Ability to prioritise competing workloads and adapt to changing operational requirements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality customer service.
• Current driver’s licence (essential).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse activities to ensure safe, efficient operations.
• Allocate work and priorities across the warehouse team.
• Mentor Storepersons through coaching and training.
• Monitor workflow, identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
• Ensure receipting, picking, issuing, dispatch and inventory entries in SAP.
• Maintain inventory accuracy via cycle counts and stocktakes.
• Deliver exceptional service to operations, maintenance and internal stakeholders.
• Support contractor coordination, freight management and logistics.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Support shutdown planning and critical material requirements.
• Promote safe work practices and positive team culture.
