Job summary

Cummins Laverton is seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations across inbound, outbound and kitting activities while leading a small team of Store persons. You will work with the Operations Manager to ensure safe, efficient service to internal and external customers, and to drive continuous improvement.

The role requires leadership capabilities, strong communication and organisational skills, and a current HR Forklift Licence or willingness to obtain

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment, ideally in a leadership or coordinator role.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a small team while maintaining strong customer service standards.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work and collaborate across multiple teams.
• A current HR Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain one) and experience operating warehouse equipment.
• Confidence learning new systems, with SAP or other warehouse management system experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse operations across inbound, outbound, kitting and dispatch activities to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Lead, coach and support a small team of Store persons, fostering a safe, productive and collaborative environment.
• Assist with workforce planning, training and coordination of daily activities to maximise operational efficiency.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, quality and warehouse processes while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with HSE policies, procedures and housekeeping standards.
