Job summary

Laminex is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Coordinator for the South Australia Distribution Centre in Wingfield, Adelaide. This full-time role operates on the afternoon shift, 2.30pm–10.36pm, Monday to Friday, with some overtime.

You will load/unload trucks, manage racking, and perform forklift duties as part of a small team. The successful candidate will oversee a lightweight team and may act as the afternoon shift Supervisor when needed.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence with at least 12 months experience.
• Experience leading a small team is advantageous.
• Experience with warehouse administration duties is desirable.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily scheduling of loads/runs with weight allowances.
• Load and unload trucks and trailers; manage racking.
• Oversee a small team and step into supervisor duties when required.
• Perform warehouse related administrative tasks.
• Work 2.30pm–10.36pm with possible overtime.

Where your story starts:

We currently have an opportunity available for an enthusiastic, self-starting Warehouse Coordinator to join our close-knit team in our South Australia Distribution Centre located in Wingfield, Adelaide.

Working afternoon shift, Monday - Friday in a full-time position, your primary responsibilities will be loading and unloading of our trucks, racking and general forklift duties.

Standard hours will be 2.30pm- 10.36pm plus some OT.

Role you’ll play:

We are looking for a people focused and safety minded person who is ready to join a leading business in a pivotal role.

This position will be 90% hands on and 10% office based. The successful candidate in this position will also be responsible for overseeing a small team and must be willing and able to step up in the afternoon shift Supervisor's duties if and when they are away.

You must have a keen attitude and willingness to learn new things along with the following skills and experience:

• Complete the daily scheduling of the loads / runs (ensuring maximum weight allowances)
• Experience in warehouse related administration duties
• Experience leading a small team would be advantageous
• Forklift licence (required) with min 12 months experience
• Experience loading and unload trucks and trailers
• Must be able to work autonomously
• Physically fit as there is some manual lifting involved in this role
• Exceptional awareness of safety in the workplace
