Job summary

Coppersmith Recruitment and Services in Croydon is recruiting for cleaning and waste operatives at a large warehouse. You will work a 4 days on, 2 days off pattern starting ASAP, with 8-hour shifts totaling about 35 hours per week.

Duties include cleaning canteens, warehouse, machinery and washrooms; you will hoover, sweep and manage waste disposal, with full training provided. Pay is £12.71 per hour and staff are paid weekly on Fridays.

Job description

Working 4 days on 2 days off shift pattern

Location: Croydon

Pay: £12.71 per hour

DETAILS

Starting on ASAP, our client is currently recruiting for many cleaning and waste operatives based in a large warehouse.

Your duties will include cleaning canteens, warehouse, machinery, and washrooms, hoovering and sweeping the warehouse/office areas, managing waste disposal and basic sanitisation. You will use appropriate cleaning equipment, materials, and chemicals (we will provide full training for you), and ensuring that all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order. You'll need to react quickly to call-outs from the client and comply with all Health & Safety legislation and policies. Successful candidates will be working for the UK's leading facilities management companies with a view to become a permanent member of staff after completing the 3 months' probation period.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to commute to the site. Ample car parking is available.

Warehouse cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.

Happy to walk around a large warehouse.

Happy to work on your own and in a team.

Your own composite safety boots are required.

Dress code: casual non-uniform

8-hour shifts, averaging 35 hours per week, paid weekly, every Friday.
