Reece Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Assistant in Alice Springs. You’ll support plumbers and tradespeople with product access, handle warehouse tasks, and contribute to smooth branch operations. Role is warehouse-based with occasional customer assistance.

About the role

As part of the Trade Counter team in Alice Springs, you'll help plumbers and other tradespeople access the products they need for building and renovation projects and undertake other tasks that keep the branch running smoothly. This predominantly a warehouse-based position, with opportunities to assist customers from time-to-time.

Your day-to-day

• Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities
• Help keep the warehouse and branch tidy and safe
• Operating a forklift truck and exercising safe work practices
• Providing customer service and information about products
• Providing quotes both in person and over the phone
• Make occasional deliveries to customers using a company vehicle

We'd love to hear from you if you're someone who:

• Can pick orders, operate a forklift truck, and has experience receiving orders and managing stock
• Has previous experience in warehousing or customer service and enjoys helping customers both in person and over the phone
• Tech-savvy and is happy to learn new systems
• Has a clean, valid driver's licence and is open to working various shifts, including weekends
• Has obtained a forklift (LF class) licence
• Wants to develop their career - either locally, within our network or head office
