Job summary

Growler Depot Pty is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse operations in Perth, WA. The role focuses on accurate receipt, storage, processing, and dispatch of wine and beer products while maintaining high inventory accuracy and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time.
• Process orders using warehouse systems and ensure timely shipment.
• Receive inbound goods and verify against delivery docs.
• Load and unload deliveries safely with forklift experience.
• Organise storage to maximise warehouse efficiency and accessibility.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment per WHS requirements.
• Monitor stock levels through regular counts and reconciliations.
• Assist with driving delivery vehicles as needed.

Job description

The Warehouse Assistant reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and plays a key role in supporting day-to-day warehouse operations. Working closely with the warehouse team, the position is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, processing, and dispatch of wine and beer products, ensuring all orders are fulfilled accurately, on schedule, and in accordance with company standards. The role contributes to maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, workplace safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

Pick, pack, and dispatch all customer orders accurately and efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.

Process orders using warehouse management systems and ensure timely shipment of goods.

Receive and process inbound goods, ensuring accuracy against delivery documentation.

Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.

Organise and store inventory physically and within the operating system to maximize warehouse efficiency and accessibility.

General warehousing responsibilities

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in accordance with WHS requirements.

Monitor inventory levels through regular stock counts, stock rotation, and stock reconciliation.

Follow company procedures to ensure accurate inventory records.

Assist driving delivery vehicles as needed.

About you

High Risk Work License with LF endorsement and Forklift experience

A positive attitude and enjoy working with a small team in a fast paced environment.

The ability to undertake repetitive manual handling.

Team player with strong communication skills.

Experience with Carton Cloud WHMS AND TMS or alternate industry software (preferred).
