Job summary

Labourpower Recruitment Services Pty Ltd represents a large transport and container company at the Port of Brisbane seeking an experienced Inventory Officer. The role focuses on maintaining inventory integrity, coordinating cycle counts, and reporting KPI variances.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with WMS in an RF environment, strong Excel skills, and the ability to operate with minimal supervision. Forklift licence is desirable but not essential, and immediate start is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience using WMS systems in RF environments.
• Logistics or 3PL inventory management experience.
• Forklift licence highly desirable but not essential.
• Advanced MS Excel and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Ensure integrity of client inventory at site.
• Identify and investigate stock discrepancies and report as required.
• Coordinate daily cycle counts and wall-to-wall storage location checks to ensure integrity of client inventory nationally.
• Assist with stock takes, including scheduling, updating procedures and reconciliation resources.
• Maintains WMS database in terms of parity between systems and report KPI variances.
• Monitor and deliver on all relevant inventory KPIs and report to internal stakeholders and the customer.
• Assist with training of inventory control concepts and methods of measurement and improvement.

• High Reach/Counter Balance Forklift licence highly desirable but not essential
• Advanced MS Excel and MS Officer user
• Ability to meet the roles responsibilities with minimal supervision.
