Job summary

Labourforce is recruiting for an ambient warehouse role in Preston's, NSW. The position covers day-to-mid/afternoon shifts starting at 12pm Mon-Fri and 7am Saturdays, with immediate starts for suitable applicants.

You will operate Crown High Reach forklifts, assist with picking/packing, RF scanning, and general warehousing tasks in a fast-paced environment. Pay ranges from AU$35–AU$41 per hour plus allowances, with potential for ongoing work.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current LF Forklift Licence.
• Previous experience on Crown High Reach forklifts is essential.
• Ability to work in an ambient environment with physical duties.
• Own reliable transport and good punctuality are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Crown High Reach forklifts and other equipment.
• Pick and pack orders, use RF scanner.
• Stack and wrap roll cages, cartons, and pallets.
• Load and unload trucks, assist with general warehouse duties.
• Ad hoc duties as required by the team.

AMBIENT - HIGH REACH FORKLIFT OPERATOR & PICKERS / PRESTONS

Our client, a Leader in the Cold Storage and Distribution industry currently have vacant positions available for a All round Store person / Forklift Operator to join their team:
MID/AFTERNOON SHIFT Available located in Preston's.
Transport & Logistics sector, therefore previous experience within a fast-paced working environment is essential.
Looking for an experienced High Reach Forklift Operator and pick packers to join the team in Preston's. Although you will be operating a Forklift this will also be a hands-on role assisting with the day-to‑day operations which will include picking / packing, putaways, replenishment, loading and unloading trucks and assisting within the warehouse. Picking will involve use of a RF scanner and stacking on to roll cages.
Mid/Afternoon shift start times are 12pm Monday to Friday and 7am Saturdays.
IMMEDIATE START for the right applicants – no restrictions with availability.
Pay Rate is $35-41per hour + allowances.
The role involves; but will not be limited to:

• Operation of Crown Forklifts- High Reach
• Working in an Ambient Environment
• Operation of Electric Pallet Jacks (where required)
• Picking and packing orders with a RF scanner
• Stacking and wrapping roll cages
• Usage of wrapping machines
• Loading and Unloading Trucks
• General warehousing duties
• Ad hoc duties as required

To be considered for this role, you MUST :

• Hold a current LF Forklift Licence
• Previous experience on CROWN High Reach forklifts a MUST !!!
• Previous experience with 7- 9 bays high
• Have experience within a similar industry or role is preffered
• Great communication skills both written and verbally
• Be Physically fit as some roles will involve heavy lifting
• Have your OWNreliable transport
• Be flexible with work hours shift times may vary
• Be reliable and punctual
• RF Scanning (preferred but not essential)
