Job summary

Labourforce is recruiting for Delivery Drivers / All-Rounders at Fyshwick to support an auto glass supplier. This temp-to-perm role offers a stable workflow, 38-hour weeks, and overtime with a starting pay of AUD 35.95 per hour plus penalties.

Responsibilities include delivering glass to branches and customers, performing pre-trip checks, and assisting in warehouse tasks. Start times range 6:00am–7:30am; long-term opportunities may arise for the right candidate.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver auto glass to company branches and customers.
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and care for the vehicle.
• Complete multi-drop deliveries safely and on time.
• Unpack and hand-deliver fragile automotive glass along routes.
• Perform manual handling of glass and accessories.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Present professionally and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist in warehouse tasks: picking, packing, dispatch preparation.

Our client is Australia’s leading auto glass supply company, recognised for delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service. Due to continued growth, they are seeking experienced Delivery Drivers / Warehouse All-Rounders to join their team at the Fyshwick Depot.
This role offers ongoing, stable work with the opportunity to transition to a permanent position for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver auto glass to company branches across Canberra and directly to customers
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain care of the allocated company vehicle
• Complete multi-drop deliveries in a safe, professional, and timely manner
• Safely unpack and hand-deliver fragile automotive glass along designated delivery routes
• Perform manual handling of automotive glass and related accessories
• Maintain cleanliness and general housekeeping of the company vehicle
• Present yourself professionally and deliver excellent customer service at all times
• Assisting within the warehouse
• Picking and packing orders
• Preparing orders for dispatch

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar delivery driving role
• Previous experience within the warehousing industry
• Valid driver’s licence (manual driving experience highly desirable)
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong commitment to safety and responsible driving
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality service
