Noosa Hospital is seeking a Wardsperson on a casual basis to support patient transport across the hospital, ensure all equipment is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate areas, and maintain clear communication with nursing staff to help achieve quality clinical outcomes.

You will liaise with Team Leaders, handle chemicals and medical gases, and respond to patient emergencies in a friendly, professional manner, supporting a safe and efficient ward environment.

About The Role

As a Wardsperson, you will be responsible for patient Transport throughout the hospital. Ensure all equipment utilised on shifts is cleaned, restocked and stored in the appropriate storage areas. Working in a friendly and supportive manner at all times, you will maintain communication networks with nursing staff and other stakeholders ensuring quality clinical outcomes are achieved.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Liaising with Team Leaders and Ward Staff
• Use of Chemicals
• Changing of Medical Gases
• Attending patient emergencies.

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate a good work ethic that includes punctuality, integrity, respect for others and a commitment to professional practice. Your effective written and verbal communication skills will assist in providing excellent customer service at all times in line with facility standards.
