Architek Commercial Interiors in Clayton/Melbourne is seeking a joiner who can handle high-end joinery—from solid timber to veneers and curves. You’ll work across our workshop and onsite team to ensure flawless pieces for boutique apartments and luxury homes.

Qualifications

• Comfortable operating panel saw, edge bander and all shop machines.
• Skilled with solid timber, veneers, curves and custom feature pieces.
• Can laminate and rebate as required.
• Reads shop drawings and spots issues before the bench.
• Fast, square assembly with first-time quality.
• Ensures nothing leaves the bench unless perfect.
• Neat, organised and a solid team player.

Responsibilities

• Operate panel saw, edge bander, and other workshop machinery.
• Fabricate solid timber, veneers and curved feature pieces.
• Laminate and rebate components.
• Interpret shop drawings and pre-empt issues.
• Assemble components accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain neat and organized workstation.

For the Pieces That Can't Come Off a Production Line

Anyone can build a box. We're after the person who builds the feature: the curved island, the veneered wall panelling, the solid timber detail that stops people in their tracks.

We make high-end joinery for boutique apartments and luxury homes across Melbourne's blue-chip suburbs. Our workshop builds it, our onsite team installs it, and every piece has to be flawless.

This is you if:

• You're a true all-rounder, comfortable on the panel saw, edge bander and every machine in the shop
• You can tackle the complex stuff: solid timber, veneers, curves, scribes and one-off feature pieces
• You hand laminate and rebate like it's muscle memory
• You read shop drawings and spot problems before they hit the bench
• You knock up and assemble fast, square and right the first time
• Nothing leaves your bench unless it's perfect
• You're neat, organised and a solid team player
