Qualifications

• Certificate 4 in wall and floor tiling (required).
• Proven tiling experience of at least 2 years.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling and priming for tiling.
• Select tiles and lay out according to plans or patterns.
• Cut tiles to fit around obstacles using tile cutters.
• Apply adhesive and install tiles in orderly rows or patterns.
• Grout between tiles and seal surfaces to protect against moisture.
• Inspect finished work for accuracy and finish quality.
• Perform maintenance or replacement of damaged tiles as needed.
• Follow health and safety regulations and use protective equipment.
• Interact with clients to understand preferences and provide recommendations.
