Job summary

Health Workforce is helping a privately owned GP practice in Toowoomba recruit a VR General Practitioner. The role offers either full-time or part-time work with an established patient base and flexible session lengths.

You will manage your own patient list, provide comprehensive general practice care, and maintain clinical autonomy including billing decisions. Sponsorship is available for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• FRACGP/FACRRM or equivalent specialist registration required.
• Medicare provider number or eligibility to obtain one.
• Current medical indemnity insurance.

Responsibilities

• Manage own patient list within established base.
• Deliver comprehensive general practice services across broad presentations.
• Maintain clinical autonomy, including billing decisions and scope of practice.
• Work with experienced nursing and administration teams.
• Utilise on-site pathology, pharmacy and treatment room facilities.
• Opportunity to supervise GP registrars, subject to accreditation.
