Job summary

Health Workforce Queensland presents a VR General Practitioner opportunity in Toowoomba. Work within an established, fully bulk-billing practice with access to on-site pathology, pharmacy and allied health services.

Flexible full-time or part-time arrangements start from two days per week. You will manage your own patient list, provide a broad scope of GP services, and maintain clinical autonomy including billing decisions.

Qualifications

• FRACGP or equivalent registration with AHPRA is required.
• Medicare provider number or eligibility to obtain one.
• Current medical indemnity insurance is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage own patient list within an established patient base.
• Deliver comprehensive general practice services across broad presentations.
• Maintain clinical autonomy, including billing decisions and scope of practice.
• Collaborate with nursing and administration teams on-site.
• Utilise on-site pathology, pharmacy and treatment room facilities.
• Opportunity to participate in GP registrar supervision.
• RACGP supervisor accreditation pathway may be available.
