Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist for its Markets Applications Production Services (MAPS) team. Based in Australia, you will provide frontline support for Equity, Fixed Income, and Derivatives platforms, ensuring high availability and rapid incident response across APAC markets.

You will work with Python, Oracle and MSSQL in a global context, collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to drive continuous improvement and service excellence.

Qualifications

• ITIL-based incident, problem, change management experience.
• Hands-on support for production systems with fast incident resolution.
• Knowledge of equities post-trade lifecycle and market infrastructure.
• Experience with large, distributed real-time platforms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver application support for in-house and vendor products used by Global Markets operations.
• Triage incidents and communicate clearly to stakeholders.
• Adhere to enterprise standard operating procedures.
• Perform root cause analysis and coordinate end-to-end remediation.
• Document resolution processes with high accuracy.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to meet business needs.
• Participate in on-call coverage and weekend/holiday shifts as required.
