Job summary

RSL LifeCare seeks a Volunteer Manager to lead the organisation's volunteer program across residential aged care, retirement living, and veteran services. You will manage recruitment, onboarding, training, engagement, and recognition, while upholding standards and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in volunteer management, recreation therapy, leisure and lifestyle, or a related field.
• Relevant qualifications in Volunteer Management, Human Resources, Management, Health Sciences, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of the National Standards for Volunteer Involvement.
• Experience managing compliance and risk in a regulated environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and volunteer management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver RSL LifeCare's volunteer management framework, policies, and processes.
• Manage volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, engagement, and recognition programs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and volunteer management standards.
• Maintain volunteer records and reporting, including training and compliance requirements.
• Support managers and teams who work with volunteers across the organisation.
• Coordinate volunteer involvement in key events, including ANZAC Day, Remembrance Day, and community initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external community partners.
