A respected community museum in Hobart is seeking a capable coordinator to lead its volunteer program and manage daily operations. The role includes coordinating logistics for visitor services, overseeing group bookings, and fostering a supportive team culture. Ideal candidates will possess strong organizational skills, experience with volunteer coordination, and have the ability to communicate effectively in diverse settings. Permanent part-time role: 30 hours per week.
Help keep Tasmania's maritime stories alive. We are seeking a capable, people-centred coordinator to lead our volunteer program and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly across the Museum, Semaphore Cottage, and our heritage vessels.
You will roster and support more than 100 volunteers, while overseeing the logistics that make the Museum welcoming and safe for visitors. You will also coordinate group bookings and school visits, and help deliver events and after-hours functions.
