Job summary

Trinity Grammar School is seeking enthusiastic Volleyball Coaches to join our Volleyball Program from Term 1, 2027. Whether you are an experienced coach, current player, or emerging coach, you will help students develop skills and contribute to a positive sporting culture.

Key responsibilities include delivering coaching sessions, planning for competition, attending all program activities, and reporting on student performance.

• Experience working with school aged students across a range of ages and skill levels.
• Ability to plan, deliver and reflect on coaching sessions to support skill development.

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Volleyball Coaches to join our thriving Volleyball Program from Term 1, 2027. Whether you are an experienced coach, current player, or emerging coach looking to develop your skills, this is a fantastic opportunity to share your expertise and make a positive impact on students.

Coaching Schedule

Summer Season (Term 1 and 4):

Training sessions: Monday and Wednesday, 3:30pm - 5:00pm

Winter Season (Term 2 and 3)

Training sessions: Tuesday and Thursday 1:30pm - 5:00pm, Wednesday and Friday 1:30pm - 3:30pm

Competition Fixtures

Matches are played on Saturday. Fixture times vary, with coaches typically required for a morning commitment of approximately 3-4 hours. Availability to coach on Saturdays is preferred

As part of the application process, you will be asked to indicate your availability, with coaching opportunities assigned based on program needs and individual availability.

• A sound playing and/or coaching background
• Experience working with school aged students across a range of age groups and skill levels
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with students, parents and colleagues
• A reliable and professional approach to work, including punctuality and preparedness for all coaching sessions and meetings

Successful candidates will have...

• A cover letter and resume, including 2 professional references. If you graduated within the past two years, provide a pastoral reference from your school
• Compliance requirements needed before commencement: NSW Working with Children number (Employment Status), First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011), CPR Certificate (HLTAID009) and PBTR - Safeguarding Children and Young People in Sport Induction certificate
