Job summary

The Opportunity

The successful General Surgeon will join an established specialist team providing comprehensive surgical services across the Tamworth region.

The Role Offers The Opportunity To
  • Provide high-quality specialist General Surgery services across inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Participate in a broad range of elective and emergency surgical presentations
  • Work collaboratively with experienced specialists, medical officers and multidisciplinary teams
  • Contribute to clinical leadership, quality improvement and service development
  • Support the education and supervision of junior medical staff and trainees
  • Participate in teaching and mentoring of medical students and surgical trainees
  • Develop your clinical interests within a supportive regional specialist environment
