Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital and Tamara Private Hospital have partnered to offer an exciting opportunity for an Anaesthetist to work seamlessly across both public and private hospital environments from the outset.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Anaesthetist seeking a broad clinical practice, strong consultant support and the opportunity to further develop expertise in contemporary regional anaesthesia.

Regional Anaesthesia

For Anaesthetists with an interest in regional techniques, this role provides regular exposure to ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks.

You will work alongside experienced anaesthetic and surgical colleagues who value contemporary regional anaesthesia and evidence-based approaches to perioperative care.

The position is well suited to Anaesthetists wanting to consolidate existing regional anaesthesia skills or expand their expertise within a supportive environment.

Public & Private Practice

A key feature of the opportunity is the ability to work across both public and private hospitals from the commencement of the role.

This provides excellent variety in clinical practice and allows Anaesthetists to develop a broad professional portfolio within an established regional health network.

About You

Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) or equivalent
Specialist Registration with AHPRA, or eligibility for Specialist Registration
Appropriate experience in Anaesthesia

The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
