Job summary

Country Road Group is seeking a Visual Merchandiser to drive a world-class retail experience across our stores. You will plan floor moves, balance commercial and visual needs, and train store teams on VM and brand standards.

You will work closely with the Store Manager and VM team to execute the brand vision and deliver profit through smart merchandising. The role emphasises fashion passion, leadership, and the ability to manage budgets and rosters while maintaining customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a comparable VM role both in-store and apparel divisions.
• Demonstrates alignment with Country Road Group culture and values.
• Shows a passion for fashion with professional presentation.
• Strong leadership skills to deliver an exceptional customer and team experience.
• Ability to manage budgets, interpret financial reports and generate efficient rosters.
• Experience managing performance, productivity, training and development of a team.
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships through excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Plan floor moves with store/department managers to maximise sale opportunities and maintain brand standards.
• Balance commercial and visual needs when merchandising or displaying products.
• Support store teams with training and development in visual merchandising.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and train on VM and brand standards.
• Style mannequins, windows and top-of-shelf displays in line with VM direction.
• Tie merchandising decisions to business results and profit focus.
• Work effectively in a team or autonomously as required.
• Maintain a safe, wellbeing-focused store environment for staff and customers.
• Model Country Road Group cultural attributes to foster learning and teamwork.
