Job summary

Northern Sydney Local Health District's Royal North Shore Hospital invites an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology as a Visiting Medical Officer on a sessional basis.

The role includes clinical management of patients, teaching and research contributions, and on-call duties within NSLHD. Applicants must hold MBBS or equivalent and be eligible for registration, with RANZCOG Fellowship or equivalent specialist recognition.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent and eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) or recognition as a specialist.
• Demonstrates high-level interpersonal and communication skills in a multidisciplinary team.
• Able to participate in on-call rosters and provide clinical leadership within the service.
• Commitment to undergraduate/postgraduate teaching, research and quality improvement activities.
