Job summary

NSW Health invites applications for a Visiting Medical Officer in General Paediatrics at Royal North Shore Hospital. The role involves clinical management of paediatric patients within the NSLHD, plus teaching and participation in research and quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent required and registered or eligible with the Medical Board of Australia (Australia).
• RACP Fellowship or recognition as a specialist by the Medical Board of Australia.
• Strong clinical knowledge in General Paediatrics and engagement in quality assurance.
• Ability to lead and work within a multidisciplinary team and participate in teaching/education.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical management and treatment of paediatric patients.
• Contribute to teaching and training of medical students, graduates and staff; participate in research and quality improvement.
• Be prepared to participate in on-call rosters and service delivery as required.
