Job summary

Nextt is seeking a reliable FEMALE Disability Support Worker to provide ongoing in-home support for a client in Carindale, Brisbane. Morning shifts, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–1:30pm, with an emphasis on practical daily tasks and community access to help maintain independence.

The position requires compassionate assistance for a bilingual English-Vietnamese client with a spinal cord injury, dog-friendly home, and a driver’s licence with a reliable vehicle. Training and checks apply.

Qualifications

• NDIS worker experience or prior exposure to disability support settings.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Valid Driver's Licence with reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home assistance with daily living tasks (laundry, bed linen changes, cleaning, tidying).
• Assist with meal preparation and household organisation.
• Support shopping, appointments, and transportation when needed.
• Facilitate community access and independence for the client.
• Support attending gym and hydrotherapy sessions.
