JA Electrical and Solar PTY LTD – Tweed Heads NSW is seeking a Content Creator / Videographer to capture engaging content from job sites and turn it into informative videos for the public and potential clients. The role involves editing footage, ensuring clear audio, and producing multiple long-form videos weekly while balancing on-site shoots with office-based editing in Tweed Heads.

You will join a team of electricians and solar installers who work on real projects, facing diverse challenges

Qualifications

• Experience creating content on field sites or construction environments.
• Ability to shoot and edit long-form videos (8–15 minutes).
• Willingness to travel to job sites and work from Tweed Heads office as needed.

Responsibilities

• Recognise opportunities to capture content on job sites and turn them into useful content.
• Ensure video and sound is clear and easy to understand.
• Edit footage efficiently and turn it into as much useful content as possible.
• Produce approximately 5 long-form YouTube videos per week (8–15 minutes).
• Create simple, informative videos for the public and potential future clients.
• Drive to job sites on some days and work in the Tweed Heads office on other days for editing.

JA Electrical & Solar is looking for a Content Creator / Videographer to work alongside the team and help become one of the most recognised and trusted sources of solar and battery information in the Gold Coast and Northern NSW region. This is not a traditional corporate marketing role. The company is made up of electricians and solar/battery installers doing real work every day, with constantly interesting things happening on jobs - customer questions, unusual installations, problems with existing systems, new technology, batteries, solar, switchboards, and backup power.

Key responsibilities

Recognise opportunities to capture content on job sites and turn them into useful content

Ensure video and sound is clear and easy to understand

Edit footage efficiently and turn it into as much useful content as possible

Produce approximately 5 long-form YouTube videos per week (generally 8-15 minutes)

Create simple, informative videos for the public and potential future clients

Drive to job sites some days and work in the office in Tweed Heads on other days for editing
