Job summary

Penguin Random House New Zealand is seeking a book-loving videographer to join our digital team in North Sydney on a part-time basis (3 days a week) for a 12‑month contract. You will craft and disseminate engaging video content for internal communications and podcasts.

You will work with Premiere Pro, After Effects, and livestreaming tools to film, edit, and publish content across internal platforms and social channels. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience creating video content.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially Premiere Pro; After Effects experience an asset.
• Experience with livestreaming tools such as OBS.
• Strong interest in online content creation and audience tailoring.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilise Premiere Pro to tailor video content that meets the diverse needs of readers and internal stakeholders.
• Film and record engaging video and audio content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Capture compelling footage of authors, internal staff, and other talents.
• Enhance videos with colour grading, audio and music integration, and simple text and animation.
